“Just because no one else can heal or do your inner work for you doesn’t mean you can, should, or need to do it alone.”

Infertility and Pregnancy Loss

You may experience a wide range of emotions regarding miscarriage, infertility, and loss. Some of the most common include anger, grief, shame, fear, or numbness. When you want to become a parent, this type of loss and uncertainty takes a toll on your physical and emotional well-being, as well as your relationships. Having a supportive space in therapy to share and grieve works against isolation. It also gives you a safe place to process emotions that feel like they’ll overtake you.

Prenatal and Postpartum Mental Health

Pregnancy and postpartum are vulnerable periods. Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs) include depression, anxiety, OCD, and psychosis. They can affect birthing people and new parents as you adjust to the changes and challenges that come with becoming a parent. In therapy, you’ll receive compassionate support and resources to work against isolation and toward healing.

Birth Trauma

Negative experiences and health crises during labor or birth may leave you feeling unsafe, out of control, scared, or unsupported. Trying to heal from birth and care for a newborn, while also dealing with trauma can overwhelm your mind and body. Therapy provides you with intentional care to help you cope and move toward physical and emotional recovery.
